Rental Terms & Conditions

RISKS, INJURY, AND OBLIGATIONS

I will not hold BLNK Studios LLC accountable for lost, stolen or damaged property. I (RENTER) assume all risk and responsibility for and injury, death, or property damage resulting from my actions and guests' actions. I assume all risks and responsibilities for any persons or items I bring into the property. I release, indemnify, and hold harmless BLNK Studios LLC, its agents, from and against all and any actions or claims which may be made by me or on my behalf or by other parties for or in respect of or arising out of any injury, loss, damage, or death caused to me or my property whether by negligence, breach of contract or any way whatsoever.

FEES AND PAYMENTS


I agree to pay 50% of the total rental amount upon booking. This amount is non-refundable. I agree to pay the remaining balance at or before the start of my rental period. At the time of booking, I agree to complete all required questions and read the Terms /Conditions/ Requirements in full. Hourly rental periods are in sixty (60) minute increments. Full-Day rentals are ten (10) hours. Hourly rentals that exceed prearranged use terms will pay an additional fee of a minimum of $50 for going over the time.  Additional time is added in increments of 30 minutes, automatically beginning at the end of the scheduled rental period to the card on file.

If you know when you arrive at the studio that you would like an additional hour added to your rental, that will be billed at $100/hr. (Subject to availability) We highly encourage booking more time than you think you need.

CANCELLATION, rescheduling, LATE OR NO SHOW POLICY & DISCLAIMERS

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before your scheduled rental time. Rescheduling within 24 hours of your booking will incur a $25 rescheduling fee. Once your scheduled rental time has begun, rescheduling is no longer an option. If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, you forfeit both your rental and security deposit. Please note that arriving late does not extend your session past the originally scheduled end time. BLNK Studios LLC cannot guarantee a noise-free environment, as we are not responsible for external or environmental noise.

USE OF CONFETTI, GLITTER OR OTHER PROPS

BLNK Studios LLC does allow the use of confetti or glitter, however, everything must be swept up and the studio returned to arrival condition. BLNK Studios LLC allows the use of any props found within the studio. You are also welcome to bring your own props to utilize. Use of smoke bombs or fog machines is strictly prohibited and a $200 fine will automatically be charged to card on file, no exceptions. However, atmosphere aerosol haze is allowed on a limited basis. There is an absolute NO GUNS policy, including but not limited to: prop replica weaponry, Airsoft electric guns (AEGs), Pellet & BB Guns, etc., at the studio's discretion. Failure to do so will result in an immediate ban from the studio.

CONDUCT

All renters and their clients must conduct themselves in a professional manner while working at BLNK Studios LLC. Renters will be respectful to others working in the building, including all Copperline Coffee + Cafe employees and guests. Renters will refrain from entering studio spaces while in use by other studio members or non-member renters unless permission is given. Renters who repeatedly display inappropriate behavior while working inside BLNK Studios LLC are subject to rental termination.  There is a NO SMOKING policy in the building. Failure to comply will result in a $200 fine and possible future ban from the studio. Outside smoking must be limited to the parking lot. The renter must leave the studio clean according to the standards outlined in the cleaning checklist below. Failure to do so will result in a cleaning fee of $75. The renter is responsible for any broken or damaged property of BLNK Studios LLC during his or her rental. You break it you buy it.Note that a Video Doorbell and Security Camera are recording the rear parking lot entrance to the studio. There are no security cameras anywhere within the studio space to maintain full privacy.

CLEANING POLICY CHECKLIST

All photo equipment (stands , extension cords, lights , apple boxes, V flats , light boxes, sand bags) must be placed  back in designated equipment area. All countertops and tables must be cleared of drinking bottles cups trash and wiped down free of dust debris and spills. All floors must be swept clean and spills wiped in studios used and client areas used.

EVENT PRICING

For Studio Rentals with 10-19 Guests (including the photographer), there will be an additional $40 per hour fee. For Studio Rentals with 20-35 guests, there will be an additional $60 per hour fee. The maximum amount of guests in the studio at any given time is 35. No exceptions. In cases where the 'Event Add-On' is not applied at the time of booking, but we find that there are more guests than the allowed limit, our staff will automatically add the additional fees to the balance of your booking.

AGE OF SUBJECTS

Renter is solely responsible for verifying that all photographic subjects/models employed, or located on premises during Renters rental period are of legal age. BLNK Studios LLC has no responsibility to determine or verity the age of participants in the renters activities but reserves the right to demand proof of parental consent if models or photographic subjects are under the age of 18 and to end those activities is necessary if BLNK Studios LLC becomes aware that legal age violations are occurring. BLNK Studios LLC is not liable in the case of an invalid ID or any other form of age verification.

SEAMLESS PAPER POLICY

BLNK Studios provides 107" Savage Seamless Paper for studio rentals, with one color included in your session. Additional colors may be added for $15 each.

For the foreseeable future, we ask that you let us know which seamless paper colors you plan to use at least 24 hours before your rental. We can have up to four colors mounted and ready for you when you arrive.

Please note that we will not be swapping or mounting seamless paper rolls during your rental. If a requested color is not already on the wall and was not requested at least 24 hours in advance, we may not be able to provide it for your session.

Each color includes up to 6 feet of paper rolled onto the floor at no additional charge. Additional paper is available for $10 per extra 2 feet. A fresh, unused section may be provided for a $25 cutting fee per cut.

Need a specific Savage Universal color that we do not currently have in stock? With at least 48 hours’ notice, we can order a new roll for $125, and you will be the first to use it.

Normal wear is expected. However, if the paper is excessively torn, stained, dirty, or left unusable for the next renter, a $25 replacement fee may apply.

Please send us your color selections before your session so we can have everything mounted and ready for when you arrive.
